Here’s how to use the ShopAndEarn Store so you can earn Velocity Points while shopping online with some of Australia’s biggest Retailers.
1. To earn Points, you need to be a Velocity Rewards Member.
Anyone can browse the ShopAndEarn Store, but you must be a Velocity Rewards Member to purchase and earn Velocity Points. Rack up your Velocity Points and you will soon enjoy redeeming on a massive range of everyday shopping items (as well as flights, naturally!).
If you’re not already a Member, you can join free online.
2. Make sure you login to Velocity Rewards before you purchase.
- You can login at velocityrewards.com.au or shopandearn.com.au (at the login box in the top-right corner of the screen).
- Use your Velocity Membership Number and password to login.
3. Make sure cookies are enabled on your computer.
When making a purchase you’ll click a link that says ‘Login to start shopping’, Once logged in ‘cookies’ will then track your path from ShopAndEarn to the Retailer’s site and more importantly will enable Velocity to allocate any Points you earn – as you can see, it’s really really important cookies are enabled so that we can credit your Account with any Points you earn. 4. How the shopping experience works.
- Once you’ve browsed ShopAndEarn and found a Retailer, click ‘Login to start shopping’. Once logged in this will take you through to the Retailer’s website. (Remember you must be logged into your Velocity Membership Account so that we can allocate your Points).
- When you enter the Retailer’s online store, their Terms & Conditions will apply.
- When you buy something, the transaction will appear in your ShopAndEarn Transaction History as ‘Pending’ within 1 working day.
- We’ll then confirm the transaction with the Retailer before updating the transaction status to ‘Approved’ and adding Points to your Velocity Membership Account. This takes on average 30 working days but can be up to 60 days (and is subject to the Retailer’s Terms & Conditions).
- From there, Points will be shown on your Velocity Membership Account and Member Statement, and will be available for redemption.

5. Always click through from ShopAndEarn.
You MUST click through to the Retailer’s site via ShopAndEarn each time you wish to make an online purchase and earn Points. This path allows us to track you via cookies, validate your purchase and add Points to your Account. Want to know more? See our FAQ’s.
6. How many Velocity Points you can earn.
This will vary depending on which Retailer you buy with.
- You can earn between 2 and 13 Points for every dollar spent or a fixed Points amount up to 2,049 Points (dependant on the Retailer).
- Each Retailer’s Points earn rate is clearly marked on the ShopAndEarn Store website.
